Organisation Structure

The organizational structure of the Centre consists of the Board of Trustees as the highest decision making body and an Academic Board responsible for coordinating academic programmes.
The Board of Trustees is assisted by Director General who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre being responsible for executing the decisions of the Board of Trustees and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Centre. In carrying out these responsibilities, the Director General will be assisted by six (6) departmental heads each heading one of the six (6) Departments of the Centre thus:

The responsibilities of the Board of Trustees, Academic Board, Management Committee, Director General and the Departments are as follows:

Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the highest policy making body of the Centre charged with the responsibility of general control and supervision of the policy, finance and property of the Centre. It is responsible for recruitment, appointments, promotions and discipline of staff of the Centre. It also coordinates the collection of donations, gifts, endowment etc. on behalf of the Centre.

Management Committee
The Management Committee is responsible for the general management of the Centre, functioning within the guidelines of the Board of Trustees. It is responsible for the implementation of all non-academic programmes of the Centre. It consists of the Director General as the Chairman and all Head of Departments as members.

Academic Board
The Academic Board is the decision-making and operating body, in relation to Educational matters functioning within the guidelines of the Board of Trustees.
The Academic Board consists of the Chairman or any member of the Board of Trustees as the Chairman, the Director General, the Directors of Administration and Services, Finance and Supply, Planning and Public Relations, Mosque, and Education and all other Heads of Academic Sections and Units are members. The head of Education Department provides the secretariat of the Academic Board. In addition, the Chairman and one other member of the present Education Sub-committee are to serve as members of the Academic Board, while the Education Sub-committee stands dissolved. The Board is responsible for effective and efficient implementation of all academic programmes of the Centre  in the area of formal education with the proper and professional guidance to achieve the overall objectives. The Academic Board is empowered to make additions, subtractions or amendments to the existing programme and ensures the growth of the academic programmes of the Centre considering the totality of its objectives. In addition, the Board is to carry out the following:
  1. Plan and organize all educational programmes of the Centre as appropriate;
  2. It is responsible for both staff and students' welfare and discipline;
  3. The Board is responsible for the proper and effective implementation of all programmes of the Centre as adopted by the Board of Trustees

Director General
The Director General is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Centre. He is to coordinate the activities of the Centre and carry out the decisions of the Board of Trustees and the Academic Board. The Internal Audit unit is to be under the direct supervision of the Director General’s Office.
